Our client wanted to develop their own Shipment Management System, all in line with their low-code technology framework, to keep a clean an homogenic IT-landscape in place. Many other solutions already were developed with this technology, so it seemed like a logical step to develop their new Shipment Management System with the OutSystems low-code platform.
The new shipment management system is helping the businesses manage and track the movement of goods from one location to another. The system facilitates the entire shipment process, from order processing to final delivery, and provides tools to streamline the shipping process, minimize errors, and increase efficiency. Last but not least, the system is flexible to adjust easily to changes to their operations or the specific needs of their customers
This complete Shipping information system has been developed using the OutSystems low-code development System. Low-code development offers our customers a complete infrastructure with many in-build functionalities and platform independency.

Currently the system will also be extended with a tablet application, that is in direct contact with the SMS. It focuses on sales of shipment orders onsite at their clients. This way conditions, timelines and financial terms can be discussed and approved on the spot and provides premium service that their clients are expecting.
